Important School Updates & Upcoming Events
Parent-Teacher Conferences – February 7th & 8th
Our semi-annual parent-teacher conferences will take place on February 7th and 8th. Teachers will reach out to parents via email or phone to share updates on students’ progress. In exceptional cases, parents may be requested to visit the school.
Students Dance – February 28th & March 1st
To mark the festive conclusion of the carnival season, our school will host a lively dance for students on February 28th and March 1st!
Event Highlights: Hot dogs & snacks; Face painting & balloons; Music by DJ Kowa – a proud graduate of our school!
Our youngest students are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes!

Parents’ Carnival Banquet – 45 Years Together – February 15th
Join us for a spectacular evening filled with music, delicious food, and great company! Celebrate with your significant other and friends while supporting our school’s fundraising efforts. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! ✨Ticket Price: $100/per person

Last Month’s News
First Graders’ Ceremony
In January, our first graders had a memorable experience! On Friday and Saturday, our first-grade students officially joined the ranks of our student community during their special ceremony. It started with a beautiful artistic program, where the children presented poems and songs. The highlight of the event was the symbolic “admission” with a giant pencil, followed by the presentation of diplomas, gifts, and refreshments. Click on pictures to see the gallery from the event.

Studniówka in Chicagoland – Magic Night!
In January, our 11th graders celebrated the Studniówka – a magical night for Polish schools in the Chicago area! This event is a true celebration, where all Polish schools come together to honor the special time of being 100 days away from the high school graduation exams.
We wish them success in their preparations for the matura exam!

School Highlights
1st Grade Student Induction Ceremony (January 24 & 25)
The official “Student Induction Ceremony” for 1st graders will take place on January 24 at 6:00 PM and on January 25 at 10:00 AM in the parish hall (across from the school). Parents of 1st graders will receive further details from their teachers. Congratulations in advance to all our 1st graders!!!
Senior Prom (January 25)
As in previous years, our seniors will celebrate the traditional “Senior Prom” alongside their peers from Polish schools across Chicagoland. We wish them an unforgettable evening of fun!
Special Events
Get Your Tickets Now – 45th Anniversary Carnival Ball (February 15, 2025)
Ticket sales have begun for the 45th Anniversary Carnival Ball! This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents, enjoy great entertainment, and support the school by raising funds to improve its operations. We promise an evening full of fun, including a live performance by POLANIE, a DJ, dinner, an open bar, and a raffle with amazing prizes! Everyone is warmly invited. Tickets can be purchased during school hours. We accept cash, checks, and Zelle payments.

Announcements
As previously announced, Parent Duty Shifts will begin in January. Every family will be required to help once per school year, covering the following responsibilities:
- Monitoring student behavior in the hallways
- Supervising in the cafeteria
Families who are unable to attend on their assigned date will need to:
- Pay a $50 absence fee
- Pay $70 if they fail to notify us in advance
Please select a date that suits your schedule and sign up for your shift Parent Duty Sign-Up.
Families who do not sign up by January 17 will be assigned a date automatically.
