🎒 Welcome to the New School Year!

On September 11 (Friday) and September 12 (Saturday), we will begin the 2026/2027 school year at the John Paul II Polish School.

We warmly welcome all of our students and parents — both returning families and those joining our school community for the first time!

Please visit our school website, where you will find information about teachers assigned to each class as well as classroom numbers:

Friday Classes

Saturday Classes

We also encourage you to review the 2026/2027 school calendar.

At the beginning of each month, we will also publish current school announcements.

🕐 Class Schedule

Please note the class schedule for the 2026/2027 school year:

FRIDAY SATURDAY
Preschool – Grade 8 6:00 PM – 8:45 PM 10:00 AM – 12:45 PM
High School (Grades 9–11) 5:00 PM – 8:45 PM 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM
Art Club 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM
POLANIE 12:45 PM – 3:30 PM

🚸 Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Student drop-off and pick-up procedures remain the same as in the previous school year.

👦 Students in Grades 4–11 should enter the school independently through the main entrance.

👧 Students in younger grades (PK–3) will meet in the gym 15 minutes before classes begin during the first two weeks of school:

Friday – 5:45 PM
Saturday – 9:45 AM

Parents should bring their children directly to the gym. Each teacher will have a sign displaying their name and class number.

These first gatherings in the gym will also give parents an opportunity to meet their children’s teachers and allow students to meet their teacher and classmates and become comfortable with their new school environment before classes begin. We hope this will make the first days of school easier and more comfortable, especially for our youngest students and preschoolers. ❤️

Once classes begin, students will walk with their teacher from the gym to their classrooms.

At the end of classes (Friday – 8:45 PM; Saturday – 12:45 PM), children will be escorted back to the designated meeting area.

Beginning with the third week of school, children should be brought to the school’s main entrance, where teachers will be waiting for them in the hallway.

At the end of classes, students in the older grades (4–11) will be the last to leave the school building.

🍎 Meal Breaks

Children should bring something to eat with them.

During the break, students will be escorted to the cafeteria, where they will be able to eat their meal.

📵 Personal Electronic Devices

Please remember that students may not use personal electronic devices during instructional time.

This includes cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices unless their use is specifically authorized by a teacher or school administration.

Electronic devices may not be used in a way that disrupts the educational process or violates the privacy of other members of the school community.

Improper use of electronic devices may result in the device being confiscated by school staff until the end of the school day. The device will be returned to the student’s parent or legal guardian.

The school is not responsible for electronic devices that are damaged, lost, or stolen.

🔐 Safety

For the safety of our students, teachers, and school staff, parents and guardians may not enter the school building during classes.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

👩‍🏫 Grades 8 & 11 Parent Orientation Meeting

📅 September 25–26, 2026

During the last weekend of September, we will hold orientation meetings for parents of students in Grades 8 and 11.

Additional information regarding meeting times and arrangements will be provided to parents by the school.

Wishing Everyone a Wonderful 2026/2027 School Year! 🇵🇱📚
