October 16–17 – School Patron Day & Bilingualism Day

On October 16–17, we will celebrate our school patron, St. John Paul II, as well as Bilingualism Day. This is an opportunity to celebrate the Polish language, culture, traditions, and history that connect our school community.

We ask students to wear school T-shirts or red-and-white clothing.

October 16–17 – Teacher Appreciation Day

October 16–17 will also be an opportunity to recognize our wonderful teachers. Thanks to their dedication, passion, and hard work, our children continue to learn, grow, and strengthen their connection to the Polish language and culture.

We encourage students and parents to take a moment to say thank you to our teachers and let them know how much their work is appreciated.

October 16 – General Parent Meeting

Time: 6:15 PM
Location: Parish building across from the school

This is one of the most important parent meetings of the school year. Parent attendance is mandatory. The School Board and Administration will provide important updates regarding current school matters and plans for the coming months. An election for the position of Vice President will also take place. We encourage all parents to attend, stay informed, ask questions, and take an active role in our school community.

October 18 – Opening Mass for the School Year

Time: 11:00 AM
Location: SS. Cyril & Methodius Church

We warmly invite students, parents, teachers, and friends of the school to attend the Holy Mass celebrating the beginning of the school year.

October 30–31 – Halloween 🎃

Regular classes will take place.

Students will also celebrate Halloween at school. Students are welcome to come to school wearing Halloween costumes. We look forward to adding a little Halloween fun to our regular school day! 🎃👻

Parent Duty Assignments

Parent duty dates have already been assigned, and families received a calendar invitation with their scheduled duty date. Each family is responsible for completing one parent duty assignment during the school year. One parent or family representative should report for duty on the assigned date.If you are unable to complete your assigned duty, you may choose the $50 duty buy-out option. Please notify the school of your decision no later than Thursday, October 8.

Families who do not respond by the deadline and do not report for their assigned duty will be charged a $100 no-show fee.

Declining the calendar invitation alone does not cancel or reschedule the assignment. If you need to change your date, please contact the school directly. Please save these dates and watch for additional announcements regarding individual events.Thank you for your continued involvement and support of our school community!
