Dear Parents,

On behalf of myself, the Teaching Staff and the School Board, I wish to invite you to our “Nativity Scene” performance prepared by students of 3^rd grade (teacher: Ms. Basia Jezyk), students of 6^th grade (teacher: Ms. Bożena Bednarczyk), and dancers of the Polanie group.

Last year, we were unable to meet and celebrate together, so we missed this event very much. Our children are preparing very hard for this performance, which is why we must give them thunderous applause.

After the performances, the students will go to the classrooms, where the “class Christmas Eve” will be held.

Nativity Scene performance:

• Friday, December 17 at 6:30 PM

• Saturday, December 18 at 10:15 AM

Entrance through the gym.

You’re invited!

On Friday and Saturday, prizes will also be awarded for beautiful Christmas works – nativity scenes.

Saint Nicholas is known primarily as a great friend of children who gives them wonderful gifts every year. Fortunately, all students in our school deserve gifts, as confirmed by St. Nicholas arrived in each class on December 3rd and 4th. Everyone was waiting for this day, but especially the youngest pupils from preschool, kindergarten, and grades I – III showed the most emotions. As a thank for the gifts, our students sang songs and recited poems under the guidance of their teachers. It was also a unique opportunity to take photos with St.Nicholas.

From our school life:

On December 3^rd & 4^th, our classes will be visited by St Nicholas and the gifts will be distributed to kids.

On December 3^rd & 4^th, students in grades VIII to XI and all parents will have the opportunity to watch the movie “Wyszyński – revenge or forgiveness”. Please make any donation that will be allocated to the renovation of the hospital for the blind in Laski near Warsaw.

On December 10^th and 11^th, please submit your works for the contest: “Christmas Nativity Scene”. Announcement of the results on December 17^th and 18^th, 2021.

On December 17^th & 18^th, there will be a Nativity play. More information on this matter will be sent to the parents by the teachers of each class

On December 24^th, 25^th, 31^st, and January 1^st, there will be no classes. We will celebrate Christmas and New Year. We will meet all kids back on January 7^th and 8^th, 2022.

The Principle, Teaching Staff, and the School Board

One of the most important days in Poland during the year is November 11th, because that is when Poles celebrate the anniversary of the Poland’s National Independence. This day reflects the national feelings of this country and it reminds the struggles that Poland had to overtake during the last centuries.
For 123 years Poland didn’t exist. It was dangerous to have a white and red polish flag at home, at school kids had to study in another language than their own. It was a time when children were beaten for fighting for the right to study in Polish. Poland became independent again in 1918. Now we can speak Polish without fear, cultivate our culture and traditions. This regained freedom is one of the most important values for the Polish nation.

Students of the Polish School of st. John Paul II, together with the teachers and the school board, celebrated the Independence Day.
