On November 20, grades 5-8 go on a trip to the Polish Museum in Chicago. Please complete the form that students will receive in the coming weeks.

On November 25, we will celebrate Thanksgiving. We wish you all pleasant moments with family and friends.

Parent Meeting

Dear Parents,

At the meeting, the most important matters related to the school will be discussed, the budget for the 2021-22 school year will be presented, and it will be possible to talk to members of the School Board and the Principal. We would like to invite all parents!

We would also like to inform all families who have not paid their school fees in full that after October 24th, a late fee of $50 will be added to their account. Please pay your dues this weekend.

See you on Friday,

The Board of the Polish School of St. John Paul II

Polish Bilingual Day

In the Polish School of St. John Paul II, we celebrated the Polish Bilingual Day, which is a continuation of the action “We speak Polish in our home!”

The Polish Bilingual Day makes parents and educators aware that they are mainly responsible and privileged to pass the Polish language on to children raised outside Poland. Such an undertaking was necessary to remind Polish families living abroad of how important the mother language is and what powerful capital it can constitute for the future of the young generation born outside the country.

Please discuss this content with your children

Dear Parents,

We wish to ask for your assistance in helping our school community with an issue that we have been experiencing recently. There is currently a TikTok challenge that is asking students to vandalize school bathrooms and destroy school property. Unfortunately, some students have been participating in this challenge. During classes in Polish School, two soap containers in the boys’ bathroom were damaged. The cost of such a container is approximately $150.00.

Please talk to your children and emphasize the importance of students respecting school property. Participation in such conduct will result in disciplinary action and the parents will be charged for the repairs.

Thank you for your help. We believe that this will never happen again.
